I have never liked the expression "it is what it is". I don't like that answer. I think if something is broken it should be fixed or at least tried to make better. Now with all of our readings and topics we are talking about in class, things that need our voice ,I dislike this phrase more than ever. It's not what it is, it's what we make it. I like that better.
I completely agree! I believe there is a solution and an answer to everything. If the answer isnt obvious then you need to do some digging!

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, as well! I hate it when I tell someone what I'm going through and they turn around and say "It is what it is!" It gets me so mad. There's a solution to every problem, like Julia said, if we can't find it on the surface we're obviously not digging deep enough!
